Kanto(関東) has 59 mountains you can reach using only public transport — trains and buses. 14 of them are among Japan's 100 Famous Mountains. 8 can be climbed on foot straight from the station. Popular choices include Mt. Akagi, Mt. Azumaya, Mt. Hotaka and Mt. Kumotori-yama. Each guide shows the route from the nearest station to the trailhead, with up-to-date bus timetables.
