Mt. Daibosatsu (大菩薩嶺)

Mt. Daibosatsu-Rei(大菩薩嶺) is in Yamanashi Prefecture and is a mountain with an altitude of 2057 m.
Which is one of the 100 famous mountains in Japan.
On a sunny day, you can see Mt.Fuji and the Southern Alps from the summit.
The maintenance of the mountain trail is attentive and easy to walk.

There are two trailheads, Kamihikawa-Tōge(上日川峠) bus stop and Daibosatsu-Toge Tozanguchi(大菩薩峠登山口) bus stop.
It takes 1 hour 15 minutes to walk from Kamihikawa-Tōge(上日川峠) to the summit.
It is 4 hours and 30 minutes to walk from the mountain entrance to the Daibosatsu-Toge Tozanguchi(大菩薩峠登山口).

From the JR Kai-Yamato station(甲斐大和駅), take the Eiwa-Kotsu Bus “Daibosatsu Kamihikawa-Tōge Line” and get off at Kamihikawa-Tōge(上日川峠) bus stop.
Boarding time: 41 minutes
Fare: 1000 yen

2.【Go】Enzan sta.(塩山駅) → Daibosatsu-Toge Tozanguchi(大菩薩峠登山口)

From JR Enzan station(塩山駅), take the ‘Daibosatsu-Toge Tozanguchi Line(大菩薩峠登山口線)’ or ‘Nikimoto Keiyu Daibosatsu-no-yu Line(二本木経由大菩薩の湯線)’ and get off at the ‘Daibosatsu-Toge Tozanguchi(大菩薩峠登山口)’.

Fare: 300 yen
