Ehime(愛媛)

Mt. Ishizuchi (Tengu-dake 1,982 m, Ehime) is the highest peak in western Japan and a 100 Famous Mountain. Setouchi Bus Nishi-no-kawa Line (4 trips/day, verified) from JR Iyo-Saijo Station to Ropeway-mae, then Ishizuchi Climbing Ropeway to Jōju Station (1,300m). Omote-Sandō trail with famous chain sections, 7h round-trip.
