四阿山

Mt. Azumaya(あずまやさん) (四阿山) is a 2,354m mountain located on the border of Ueda City in Nagano Prefecture and Tsumagoi Village in Gunma Prefecture.
Selected as one of Japan’s 100 Famous Mountains, it features a gentle profile and 360-degree panoramic views from the summit.

While driving to the Torii-toge Pass route is common, this page introduces bus access to Sugadaira Kogen Davos (菅平高原ダボス / Sugadaira Ranch) on the western side.

From Ueda Station (上田駅) Oshiroguchi Exit, Bus Stop #3, take the Ueda Bus (上田バス) bound for “Sugadaira Kogen” (菅平高原) and get off at Sugadaira Kogen Davos (菅平高原ダボス) bus stop.
