Mt. Nasu-sake (那須岳)

Mount Nasu-dake(那須岳) is located in Tochigi Prefecture and is a collective term for mountains like Chausu-dake, Asahi-dake, and Sanbon-yari-dake. The highest point is Sanbon-yari-dake(三本槍岳) at 1,917m. It is counted as one of 100 Famous Japanese Mountains.

There’s a ropeway running up to the middle of Chausu-dake, making it a convenient route to use.

Take the Nasu Line operated by Kanto Automobile from Nasu-Shiobara Station or Kuroiso Station and get off at the Nasu Ropeway.
