Mt. Oku-Dainichi

Mt. Nogohaku

Mt. Nogohaku (1,617 m), a Japan-200 peak and the highest point on the Gifu–Fukui border. Reach the Nogodani trailhead by taxi from Tarumi Station — a fit-hiker 9–10 hour round trip through beech forest.

Mt. Higashiakaishi

Mt. Higashiakaishi (1,706 m), a Japan-200 peak in Ehime known for its peridotite ridge and alpine flowers. Reach the Ikadazu trailhead by the Besshiyama community bus from Niihama Station — an intermediate-to-advanced 7-hour round trip.
