Mt. Oiseyama (おいせやま, 550m) in Magi district, Otsuki City, Yamanashi, is the 8th-rank peak of the Shurei Fugaku Twelve Views (paired with Mt. Iwadonosan). A sacred site of Magi Suwa Shrine, more of a leisurely walk than a mountain climb, known as a spring cherry blossom spot with about 3,000 cherry trees.
About 30 min walk from Magi Onsen to the summit. Beginner ★★・distance ~2 km・elevation gain 100 m・action time ~1 hour (out-and-back). The cherry blossoms with Mt. Fuji combo view is the highlight; early to mid-April cherry blossom season is the best time.

Otsuki Station (JR Chuo Main Line / Fujikyu Railway) is the gateway for Mt. Oiseyama. From Shinjuku, JR Chuo Line Limited Express Kaiji ~1 hr 5 min・¥3,500 (reserved), or JR Chuo Line local ~1 hr 30 min・¥1,520. From Tokyo Station via local ~1 hr 50 min. From Osaka via Shinkansen ~4 hr・¥14,000. From overseas, Haneda Airport → Shinjuku is convenient. From Otsuki Station, Fujikyu Yamanashi Bus ~20 min or 1 hr walk.

Mt. Oiseyama access by Fujikyu Yamanashi Bus toward Magi from JR Chuo Line Otsuki Station ~20 min・¥400, or 1 hr walk. Private car: about 5 min from Chuo Expressway Otsuki IC to Magi Onsen area, parking at Magi Onsen parking (few spaces, permission required) or roadside. Combined with Mt. Iwadonosan (8th-rank pair) climb takes separately about 2 hr (via Iwadonosan Hatakura trailhead).

Cherry blossom season (early-mid April) weekends cause Otsuki IC traffic / parking congestion; early morning arrival or public transport recommended.
