Mt. Oiseyama (おいせやま, 550m) in Magi district, Otsuki City, Yamanashi, is the 8th-rank peak of the Shurei Fugaku Twelve Views (paired with Mt. Iwadonosan). A sacred site of Magi Suwa Shrine, more of a leisurely walk than a mountain climb, known as a spring cherry blossom spot with about 3,000 cherry trees.

About 30 min walk from Magi Onsen to the summit. Beginner ★★・distance ~2 km・elevation gain 100 m・action time ~1 hour (out-and-back). The cherry blossoms with Mt. Fuji combo view is the highlight; early to mid-April cherry blossom season is the best time.

🌸 Early-mid April best season — 3,000 cherry trees with Mt. Fuji: Mt. Oiseyama’s best season is overwhelmingly the early-mid April cherry blossom period; about 3,000 cherry trees color the small hill pink, creating a cherry blossom and Mt. Fuji combo view unique among the Shurei Fugaku Twelve. The O-iseyama Gofuku-mairi (visiting five shrines and small Shinto altars) is also popular. Just 100 m elevation gain and 30 min walk — ideal for beginners and families.
🚌 Fujikyu Yamanashi Bus from Otsuki Station ~20 min・Otsuki IC very close by car: Access by Fujikyu Yamanashi Bus toward Magi from JR Chuo Line Otsuki Station (~20 min・¥400), or 1 hr walk.
