Mount Kentoku (乾徳山) is a 2,031m mountain in Yamanashi Prefecture. As you climb from the trailhead, the landscape transitions from forest to grassland to rocky ridges. The chain-assisted climb up the Otori-iwa rock face just below the summit is thrillingly exposed, and the panoramic views of Mount Fuji and the Southern Alps from the top are spectacular.
The trailhead (Kentokusan Tozanguchi) can be reached by bus from either Enzan Station or Yamanashi-shi Station on the JR Chuo Line.

From JR Enzan Station, take the Yamanashi Kotsu Bus “Kubodaira/Nishizawa Keikoku Line” and get off at Kentokusan Tozanguchi.
