Mt.Fuji (富士山) : Fuji-Subaru Line 5th Station(Yoshida trail)

Mount Fuji(富士山) is located at the boundary between Yamanashi and Shizuoka prefectures at an altitude of 3776 m.
It is the highest mountain in Japan.

There are mainly four climbing mouths that Fuji-Subaru line 5th Station as know as Yoshidaguchi trail(吉田口), Subashiri trail(須走口), Gotemba trail(御殿場口), Fujinomiya trail(富士宮口).

How to Access

1. 【Go】Fujisan Sta.(富士山駅) or Kawaguchiko Sta.(河口湖駅) → Fuji-Subaru line 5th Sta.
2. 【Go】Shinjuku Sta.(新宿駅) → Fuji-Subaru line 5th Sta.
3. 【Return】Fuji-Subaru line 5th Sta. → Fujisan Sta.(富士山駅) or Kawaguchiko Sta.(河口湖駅)
4. 【Return】Fuji-Subaru line 5th Sta. → Shinjuku Sta.(新宿駅)

1.【Go】Fujisan Sta.(富士山駅) or Kawaguchiko Sta.(河口湖駅) → Fuji-Subaru line 5th Sta.

From Fujikyu line(富士急線) Fujisan station(富士山駅) or Kawaguchiko station(河口湖駅), take the Fujikyu hiking bus (towards Fujisan Go-goume : 富士山五合目) and get off at the final destination of Fuji-Subaru line 5th Station.

Boarding time: 1 hour 5 minutes from Mt. Fuji station ｜ 55 minutes from Kawaguchiko station
Fare: 1540 yen for one way, 2100 yen for round trip.
Duration: July 1st 2018 to daily September 10

2.【Go】Shinjuku Sta.(新宿駅) → Fuji-Subaru line 5th Sta.

From the Shinjuku Station Express Bus Terminal (Busta Shinjuku), take the “Fujisan Go-goume – Shinjuku Line(富士山五合目新宿線)” and get off at the final destination of Fuji-Subaru line 5th Station.

*Notes : On weekends, the last buses on Friday, Saturday, and holidays are running less to reduce climbers in the evening.
*Reservation required : At Shinjuku Station Express Bus Terminal or Highway bus.com

Boarding time: 2 hours 35 minutes
Fare: 2700 yen
Operation period: 1 July – 30 September 2018
* Operation will be reduced from 11th September 2018 because the mountain huts(Yamagoya 山小屋) of Mt. Fuji close .

From the Fuji-Subaru line 5th Station, get on Fujikyu hiking bus bound for Fujisan station.

Boarding time: 1 hour 5 minutes to Fujisan station ｜ 55 minutes to Kawaguchiko station
Fare: 1540 yen for one way

4.【Return】Fuji-Subaru line 5th Sta. → Shinjuku Sta.(新宿駅)

From the Fuji-Subaru line 5th Station take the express bus “Fujisan Go-goume – Shinjuku Line(富士山五合目新宿線)”.

Boarding time: 2 hours 35 minutes
Fare: 2700 yen
Operation period: 1 July – 30 September 2018

* Operation will be reduced from 11th September 2018 because the mountain huts(Yamagoya 山小屋) of Mt. Fuji close .
