Mt. Kenashi (毛無山) is a 1,964m peak on the border of Yamanashi and Shizuoka Prefectures, the highest peak of the Tenshi mountain mass. It is selected as one of the 200 Famous Japanese Mountains and the 100 Famous Mountains of Yamanashi. Rising on the west side of Mt. Fuji, an unobstructed grand view of Mt. Fuji unfolds from near the summit.
From Fujinomiya Station on the JR Minobu Line or Fujisan Station on the Fujikyu Railway, access Asagiri Green Park Entrance by bus.

The Fujikyu Shizuoka Bus “Shin-Fuji Line” connecting Shin-Fuji Station ~ Asagiri Green Park ~ Kawaguchiko Station / Fujisan Station underwent a schedule revision on Saturday, April 11, 2026, reducing one-way services from 4 to 3. 1. [Outbound] Shin-Fuji Station / Fujinomiya Station → Asagiri Green Park
From Shin-Fuji Station or Fujinomiya Station, board the Fujikyu Bus “Shin-Fuji Line” and get off at the Asagiri Green Park bus stop.
Travel time: about 1 hour 10 minutes from Shin-Fuji Station / about 40 minutes from Fujinomiya Station
Fare: ¥1,550 from Shin-Fuji Station / ¥970 from Fujinomiya Station
From the Asagiri Green Park (Iriguchi) bus stop to the Kenashiyama (base) trailhead is about 2.3 km along the road, roughly a 35-minute walk. Follow the signs and, at the T-junction, head toward the mountain to reach the trailhead. The course times below start from this trailhead.
