Mount Azuma-san stands at an altitude of 2,354 meters and is nestled on the border between Nagano and Gunma prefectures. It’s recognized as 100 Famous Japanese Mountains.

While many visitors typically start their journey from the Torii Pass when driving, in this article, we’ll introduce the way to access the western side of the mountain via Sugadaira Kogen Davos (Sugadaira Farm), which is accessible by bus.
