蓼科山

Mt. Tateshina(たてしなやま) (蓼科山) is a 2,531m mountain located at the northern end of the Yatsugatake(やつがたけ) Range.
The summit is covered in large volcanic rocks with no tree growth, providing a full 360-degree panoramic view.

1. Going: Chino Sta. → Tateshina Trailhead

From JR Chino Station (茅野駅), take the Tateshina Kogen Round Bus (蓼科高原ラウンドバス) and get off at “Tateshina-yama Tozanguchi” (蓼科山登山口).

Fare: ¥1,700
Operating period: Generally late April to late October, specific days only

2. Return: Tateshina Trailhead → Chino Sta.

From Tateshina-yama Tozanguchi (蓼科山登山口) bus stop, take the Tateshina Kogen Round Bus (蓼科高原ラウンドバス) to JR Chino Station (茅野駅).
