Mt. Shiroyama (城山)

Mount Shiro (城山 Shiro-yama) is a 670m mountain in the Takao area of Tokyo, popular as part of the Takao-Jinba ridge trail. The summit features a spacious rest area with a teahouse serving snacks and drinks, and offers views of the surrounding mountains.

Access is from JR or Keio Takao Station via the Keio Bus to the Kobotoke trailhead. The hike from the bus stop to the summit takes about 1 hour 25 minutes. You can also access Shiroyama from Takaosan via the ridge trail and cable car (see the Takaosan page for cable car details).
