Mt. Mitsumata-Rengedake is a 2,841m peak located at the tri-prefectural border of Toyama, Nagano, and Gifu. The ridgeline connecting to Mt. Sugoroku and Mt. Washiba offers one of the finest panoramic routes in the Northern Alps, with sweeping views of the Yari-Hotaka range and the Kurobe headwaters. It is one of Japan’s 300 Famous Mountains.
The trailhead at Oritate is accessed by the Toyama Chiho Railway summer mountain bus (Arimine Line) from Arimine-guchi Station. This service is seasonal and reservation-required, with two types: a direct bus from Toyama Station and a connecting bus from the train station.
The trailhead is Oridachi. Take a bus from Arimine-guchi Station on the Toyama Chiho Railway. The same trailhead is also used for Yakushidake and Washibadake.
