Mt. Adatara (安達太良山 Adatara-yama) is a mountain located in the central part of Fukushima Prefecture, with an elevation of 1,699.6 meters. The mountain has a generally gentle slope and is known for its accessibility even to beginners, thanks to the gondola lift operating from Okudake (奥岳) to Yakushidake (薬師岳), even in summer, which takes visitors up to around 1,300 meters.
