Mt. Adatara

Mt. Adatara (安達太良山) is a 1,700m peak in central Fukushima Prefecture, counted among the 100 Famous Japanese Mountains.
The overall mountain shape is gentle, and the ski-area gondola lift between Okudake and Mt. Yakushi operates year-round, comfortably reaching about 1,300m elevation — making it accessible even for beginners.
From Nihonmatsu Station on the JR Tohoku Main Line, access the Okudake Trailhead by bus or taxi.
