Mt.Ryōkami(両神山)

Mt.Ryōkami-san(両神山) is a 1,723-meter-high mountain located in Saitama Prefecture and is one of the 100 most famous mountains in Japan.
There are several trailheads. This page shows you how to get to the Hinata-Ōya-Guchi trailhead(日向大谷口登山口), the most major route and accessible by bus.

How to get to the trailhead

1. [Outward] Seibu-Chichibu Sta. to Ryokami Town Hall → Hinata-Ōya-Guchi trailhead
2. [Outward] Mitsumine-guchi Sta. to Yakushi-no-Yu to Hinata-Ōya-Guchi trailhead
3. [Return] Hinata-Ōya-Guchi trailhead to Ryokami Town Hall to Seibu-Chichibu Sta.
4. [Return] Hinata-Ōya-Guchi trailhead to Yakushi-no-Yu → Mitsumine-Guchi Sta.

1. [Outward] Seibu-Chichibu Sta. to Ryokami Town Hall → Hinata-Ōya-Guchi trailhead

Step 1.
Go to Seibu-Chichibu station(西武秩父駅), then take the Seibu-Chichibu bus "Seibu-Chichibu Line Yakushi-no-Yu(西武秩父線 薬師の湯行き)" from there, and get off at "Ryokami Town Hall(両神庁舎前)".
Ride time: 46 minutes

Step 2.
From the Ryokami Town Hall(両神庁舎前) bus stop, take the Ogano Town Bus "Hinata-Otani/Mitsumine-guchi Line bound for Hinata-Ōya-Guchi(日向大谷・三峰口線　日向大谷口)" and get off at the Hinata-Ōya-Guchi trailhead(日向大谷口) bus stop.
Ride time: 32 minutes

2.[Outward] Mitsumine-guchi Sta. to Yakushi-no-Yu to Hinata-Ōya-Guchi trailhead

Go to Mitsumine-Guchi Station(三峰口駅) on the Chichibu Railway Chichibu Honsen Line, get on the Hinata-Otani/Mitsumine-guchi Line bus, and get off at Yakushi-no-Yu(薬師の湯) bus stop. Change to the Hinata-Ōya-guchi-bound bus and get off at the Hinata-Ōya-guchi(日向大谷口) bus stop.

3. [Return] Hinata-Ōya-Guchi trailhead to Ryokami Town Hall to Seibu-Chichibu Sta.

At the Hinata-Ōya-Guchi bus stop, take the Ogano Town Bus "Hinata-Ōya/Mitsumine-Guchi Line" bound for Mitsumine-Guchi" and get off at the Ryogami Town Hall bus stop.

Step 2.
From Ryokami Town Hall(両神庁舎前) bus stop, take the Seibu Chichibu bus "Seibu Chichibu Line bound for Seibu Chichibu Station" and get off at Seibu Chichibu Station(西武秩父駅).
Ride time: 46 minutes

At the Hinata-Ōya–guchi(日向大谷口) bus stop, take the Hinata-Ōya/Mitsumine-Guchi Line bus, transfer to a bus at the Yakushi-no-yu(薬師の湯) stop and get off at Mitsumine-guchi station(三峰口駅).
