Mt. Iozen is a 939m mountain straddling Ishikawa and Toyama Prefectures. It is a collective name for a mountain massif including Mt. Shirahage, Mt. Oku-Iozan, and Mt. Mae-Iozan. The highest point, Mt. Oku-Iozan, has a first-class triangulation point. Mt. Iozen is designated as one of Japan’s 300 Famous Mountains and the New 100 Famous Flower Mountains.
