Mt. Ōyama (大山)

Mount Ōyama (大山) is a 1,252 meters mountain situated in Kanagawa Prefecture.
It is designated as a Quasi-National Park along with the Tanzawa Mountains.

The popular trailheads are both Ōyama-cable(大山ケーブル) and Yabitsu-Tōge(ヤビツ峠).
The common route is using the Ōyama-cable.
Approximate hiking time　is 2 hours and 15 minutes from Afri shrine of the top of the Ōyama-cable station.

If you are not confident in your physical strength, you can also trek from Yabitsu-Tōge. It takes about  only 1 hour 10 minutes to the summit.

1.[Outward] Isehara Sta.(伊勢原駅) to Ōyama-cable(大山ケーブル)

From Odakyu Isehara station(小田急伊勢原駅) north exit bus stop # 4, get on the “Ise 10 line Oyama cable line(伊10系統 大山ケーブル行)” and get off at Ōyama-cable(大山ケーブル).

The bus departs about every 20 to 30 minutes during the day.
Time : About 25 to 30 minutes
Fare : 310 Yen.

2.[Outward] Hadano Sta.(秦野駅) to Yabitsu-Tōge(ヤビツ峠)

From Odakyu Hadano Station(小田急秦野駅) north exit at the bus stop #4, get on the “Bound for Yabitsu-Tōge(ヤビツ峠)” and get off at Yabitsu-Tōge(ヤビツ峠).

Time : 48 minutes
Fare : 470 Yen

3.[Return]Ōyama-cable(大山ケーブル) to Isehara Sta.(伊勢原駅)

From “Ōyama-cable(大山ケーブル)” bus stop, get on the bus “Bound for Isehara station north entrance(伊勢原駅北口行)” and get off at Isehara station.
The bus departs about every 20 to 30 minutes during the day.
Time About 25 to 30 minutes
Fare : 310 Yen.

4.[Return]Yabitsu-Tōge(ヤビツ峠) to Hadano Sta.(秦野駅)

From “Yabitsu-Tōge(ヤビツ峠)” bus stop get on the bus bound for “Hadano Station(秦野駅行)”, get off at Hadano Sation(秦野駅).

Time : 46 minutes
Fare : 470 Yen
